Casa Pieve is beautifully situated in Castelvecchio one of the 10 Castella above Pescia. The holiday home also has a breathtaking view of two other villages, Pontito and Stiappa, and of course of the Tuscan countryside.
The house is situated on the medieval road that connects the Romanesque Pieve with the village, dates to the 15th century and where possible the original floors and ceilings have been preserved.
Casa Pieve consists of two flats, Grisaglia on the ground floor and Sanguigna on the first floor, which can be rented together or only the apartment on the first floor. The holiday home is very tastefully furnished, with small pieces of furniture personally made by the owner.
There are three bedrooms in each flat, all with beds that can be used as double or single beds. There are two bathrooms, one with a large shower and the second with a bathtub. In Grisaglia, the kitchen is integrated into the living room, as is so often the case here in Tuscany, from where you can also access the garden directly. The upper flat, Sanguigna, has a separate living room and kitchen.
The pool is in the large garden. It is on several levels, so that anyone who doesn’t want to lie directly by the pool can find a quiet spot in another corner.
Casa Pieve is the perfect place to enjoy Tuscan life in the tranquillity of nature! Castelvecchio is also a good starting point to visit all the Tuscan highlights.
