Vagli Sopra is a medieval, stone village only a few hundred meters abouve the  lake and the Vagli Sotto village that is an peninsula near to the famous sunken village in the Apuane Alps in Garfagnana.

It is possible to spend days  relaxing and enjoying the local countryside or use it  as a base from which to explore the beautiful Garfagnana. In the village there is one coffee shop/newsagent. There is also one family running rustic restaurant and pizzeria.

You can find the Post Office, one bank, one chemist. There is a bread delivery to the village each morning and a grocery van comes once a week. Another family running restaurant with breathtaking view is 15 minutes driving distance in the oasis of Campocatino.

Description: The home consists of 2 apartments, both  with the same entrance and private outdoor area in the garden.

Who wants to spend a time in a typical Tuscan village has found an ideal place. Many medieval villages, mountains, the largest reservoir of Tuscany with fishing and swimming opportunities. Pure nature, village life and good Tuscan cuisine.

All guests can use the large garden with tables and chairs available. But each also has its own outdoor area with a table to eat outside.

You have a wonderful view of the mountains and the nature of the area. Dogs are welcome.
