The holiday house with two separate Apartments is  a newly renovated property and  situated a little above Gallicano in Garfagnana, but less than 40 min from Lucca.

The Village is very little but  well situated for a good choice of restaurants and eating out, with the closest good restaurant only 5 minute drive away. Situated in 2 hectares of land, including vineyards and olive trees, with mountain views this is the perfect place to relax and plan the visits around.

Every apartment has  2 bedroom  (one double room and one bedroom with 2 single beds) and 1 bathroom, a living room with a single bed sofa and a kitchen, so is ideal for two families wishing to holiday together, but with that all important privacy between you. The cottage is built into the hillside so whilst it is on two floors, both apartments are entered at ground level.

There are two individual eating areas outside and every apartment has a own barbecue but if you wish there is  plenty of space for the entire group to eat and drink together under the loggia, overlooking  the gardens, pool and stunning mountains.

The apartments have been sympathetically renovated using traditional materials where possible and boast traditional style flooring, chestnut windows and shutters, some exposed stonework, and in the upper apartment chestnut beamed ceilings.

The new kitchens in tuscan Country styler modern with fridge/freezers, dishwashers, ovens, hobs and traditional style stone sinks.

The living areas have TVs and DVD players and the apartments both have WIFI, that you can use also outside in the Garden.

The Pool is private (10×5 m) and in the big garden everyone find a place to read a book and hear only the tuscan nature.

– Gallicano – 10 mins with a selection of restaurants and a big supermarket

– Barga – 12 mins – beautiful mediaeval town

– The fortress of Verrucole, with its stunning views, and interacitve museum 30 mins – Grotta del Vento – extensive natural cave system – 30 mins
